DNA Health Test

Understanding your genetic makeup can help you make smarter decisions and more effective solutions to optimize your health and achieve your goals.

We are all unique individuals who need unique measures to maintain our health. With the help of DNA tests, we can better understand how we respond to different diets, lifestyle choices, and supplements (nutrigenetics).

We are born with a set of genes that we cannot change during our lifetime. However, we can influence the way in which these genes are expressed. There is a close relationship between the genes we carry and the choices we make in terms of nutrition, medication and lifestyle.

What is tested?

Genes are sections of DNA that contain the instructions your body needs to make each of the many thousands of proteins necessary for life. Each gene is made up of thousands of letter combinations (called nucleotides) that form the genetic code. The code contains the instructions for making all that is needed for the optimal functioning of cells, organs, and body parts.

What are gene variations?

With the exception of identical twins, all humans have small differences (variations) in their genetic code. These differences make each of us unique. Just as a single letter can fundamentally change the meaning of a word, so too can single nucleotide changes fundamentally affect the function of our genes.

What does nutrigenetics mean?

Genetic variations can affect the expression of a gene and thereby influence metabolic processes that are of great importance for maintaining cell health. They also influence an individual's response to environmental factors such as diet, lifestyle, dietary supplements and exercise.

DNA Health includes relevant genes for the following areas:

Cholesterol metabolism | Bone health Methylation | Inflammation | Oxidative stress Insulin resistance | Detoxification | Reaction to food (such as sensitivity to lactose, caffeine & salt consumption)

Workshop: Genetics (SNP test)

Have you always wanted to understand what your genetic makeup is, what it means for you and, above all, what you can do to get the most out of yourself in terms of health and performance?

Do you also feel that:

  • you react more sensitively to some things than others
  • certain diets produce different results in you than in others
  • That you can't do some things (e.g. detoxification) as well as others

And do you wonder:

  • Whether there are things that you may need more than others because of your genetics in order to feel optimally well?
  • Or whether you should possibly avoid things because of your genetics because they are particularly harmful to you?
  • And above all, how you can organize your daily life to achieve the best possible result for yourself, a life with as few symptoms as possible and instead full of energy, drive and zest for life?

Do you want to:

  • finally get answers to what makes you different from others and not always be satisfied with sweeping statements?
  • Get an insight into your genetics and understand what makes you so unique – and how you can best deal with this uniqueness?
  • Create your own personalized list of priorities for your life in terms of nutrition, supplementation, exercise and sleep so that you can optimally support your genes?
  • Know which blood values and other diagnostics are particularly important for you based on your individual genetics – including reference values so that you can correctly interpret your blood values?

Then this workshop is perfect for you! Because once you understand your genetics, you will quickly realize what your blueprint for an optimal life experience should look like!

Benefit from our proven concept for success and learn how to read and interpret your genetic test to get the most out of it!

The video is based on the results of the DNA Health Test, but can also be used to interpret other DNA tests!

This is included in the price of your selection “DNA Health Test plus Workshop”:

  • Your personal DNA Health Test. The DNA Health includes a partial genome analysis and provides information on relevant genes that influence the following areas: lipid metabolism, bone health, methylation, insulin sensitivity, detoxification, inflammation and oxidative stress, vitamin requirements, gluten and lactose intolerance, caffeine metabolism, salt sensitivity and iron overload.
  • Video recording of the workshop with Corinna van der Eerden, AFMCP/FMCHC,
  • who explains how to interpret your results and how to derive appropriate lifestyle measures from them.
  • Detailed list of blood values and other markers (including reference ranges) that are relevant depending on genetic predisposition.
  • Live Q&A (zoom): If you have any questions, we will answer them in a monthly live Q&A on zoom. Participation is included in the price.
